Deborah Shoman Zirbel, RMR, started reporting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1976. In 1980 Debbie relocated to the Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida, area and reported there until she moved to the Panhandle of Florida where she has been reporting since 1999.

Debbie has always been committed to her profession and continuously strives to achieve higher standards, first becoming a Registered Professional Reporter and then a Registered Merit Reporter, which is the nation's highest proficiency test for reporters. She is a member of the National Court Reporters Association as well as the Florida Court Reporters Association.

Debbie has continuously strived to be on the leading edge of technology, initially by learning computer-aided technology, which has now evolved into realtime reporting, the instant translation of stenographic notes into readable text.

Getting an accurate transcript to the client in a timely fashion is still the key to success in the court reporting business. By staying abreast of the latest technology, Debbie has been able to meet or exceed the needs of her clients.

Debbie is the sole owner of Deborah J. Shoman, Inc., d/b/a Stewart & Shoman Reporting. She has established beautiful offices in Panama City, Florida, with state of the art technology, including videoconferencing, where individuals can have face-to-face conversations with people anywhere in the world.

Debbie has associated herself with a team of motivated professionals to help her meet the growing demand for court reporters and related fields in the Panhandle. These include a Registered Professional Reporter as well as a Certified Legal Video Specialist.
